Research
My group's research is in the application of feedback and control to networked systems, with applications in biology and autonomy. Current projects include work on biomolecular feedback systems, novel architectures for control systems, and networked control systems (see my research overview for more details).
Active projects:
MultiLayer, Composable and Programmable Biomolecular Circuits for Microbial Consortia (Army Research Office)
Engineering Reliable Genetic Circuits for Characterization and Remediation of Soil Ecologies (Army Research Office)
Deciphering the Rules of Nucleus Architecture with Synthetic Cells and Organelles (NSF)
Actuation of Synthetic Cells Via ProtoFlagellar Motors (NSF)
SafetyCritical CyberPhysical Systems: From Validation & Verification to Test & Evaluation (NSF)
Developing Standardized CellFree Platforms for Rapid Prototyping of Synthetic Biology Circuits and Pathways (NSF)
Formal Methods for V&V and T&E of Autonomous Systems (AFOSR)
