Hockett Meadows & Little Kern River
Mary and I are planning this summer's Murray Group backpacking trip. It should be fun and please join us.This trip takes 4-5 days totally. According to Richard's "devil" schedule, there are two possible slots:
- July 27 - August 6
- August 28 - September 11
We will pick one soon.

Review
This adventure takes you to the land of the Hockett plateau, where wildflowers thrive in nature’s gardens, deer herds congregate in tall grass meadows, and lakes repose in glaciated bowls. The route then loops around to the rushing Little Kern River, whose headwater freshets plunge down flaming rock walls. The numerous side trips offered expand and extend your adventures.
