Is the overshoot definition on slide 12 correct?

Q On page 12 the overshoot in the figure seems to be defined between the maximum and 105% (not 100%): is this wrong?

A Yes: the picture should be adjusted. In fact the overshoot is defined as the difference between the maximum peak in the transient and the steady state value of the step response of the system; it is also usually expressed as a percentage of the steady state step response.
